Rick Myllenbeck

Owner, Wine Boss

Rick is a marketing executive from the high-tech industry in Silicon Valley having worked, driven and communicated technical innovation for the past 30-years for such companies as Apple Computer, Novell, Creative Labs, Sybase and IBM. He is also a 39-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve and a veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and is still currently serving. Wine tasting has been a hobby of Rick’s since the 1930’s just before prohibition ended (just joking – for more than 20-years).

Elizabeth Myllenbeck

Owner, Chief Executive Officer

Elizabeth is an education professional with more than 25 years experience teaching high school Social Sciences and as an Adjunct Professor in American Studies. She is a James Madison Memorial Fellow and has been a curriculum and instruction consultant for many years. Currently, she works as an online educator for the Department of Defense Education Activity. Elizabeth's love of wine began long ago with an increased interest upon her and her children's arrival to Northern California. It was and is the perfect environment to gain wine knowledge and the lifestyle it provides. She is currently studying to gain her Certified Specialist in Wine (CSW).

Our youngest member of the team, but still old enough to drink (in dog years!), Remy is a four-year-old purebred Papillion, friend, companion and certified therapy dog. He brings much happiness and unconditional love to his family, friends, neighbors, members of the military, veterans, senior citizens, as well as wine lovers and anyone else who is drawn to his charm, cuteness and adorability... He takes his job seriously and looks forward to hosting other furry, whiskered four leggers out back in Sonoma Cellar’s wine garden.
